Privacy Policy

Depending on how you use Fox AI, we may collect and store:

• Account identifiers, email address, sign-in status, and subscription plan
• Billing identifiers, subscription status, trial state, and plan history; full card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by PeptideFox
• Conversations, prompts, assistant responses, generated summaries, titles, shared conversation settings, and message quota usage
• Personalization profile data you provide, such as goals, preferences, or context used to tailor research responses
• Protocol planning and tracker data, including compounds, timing, dose logs, schedules, vial/reconstitution fields, and notes
• Biomarker data you add or upload, including lab files, parsed measurement proposals, accepted measurements, AI-generated reports, and whether biomarker history is included in Fox AI chats
• Files attached to chats or biomarker workflows, including filename, type, size, and contents
• Product analytics, device/browser details, page views, attribution information, diagnostic logs, and session replay data used to understand and improve the product

We use Fox AI information to:

• Authenticate users, manage subscriptions, enforce quotas, and provide support
• Save conversations, generate responses, summarize threads, and title chats
• Personalize research responses using profile, protocol, and optional biomarker context
• Parse uploaded files, extract biomarker proposals, and generate biomarker reports
• Operate protocol planning, protocol tracking, dose logs, sharing, and saved workflows
• Measure product usage, debug errors, protect against abuse, and improve Fox AI
• Send account, onboarding, subscription, support, and service-related emails

Fox AI runs on a web application and Cloudflare Worker backend. Structured account and product data is stored in our database. Uploaded files are stored in object storage. We use service providers to operate the product, including:

• Clerk for authentication and account identity
• Stripe for payment and subscription processing
• Anthropic for AI chat, file parsing, summaries, titles, and biomarker analysis
• Resend for email audiences, onboarding, and account communications
• Amplitude, Google Analytics, Ahrefs Analytics, Vercel, and hosting logs for analytics and diagnostics
• Cloudflare services for API hosting, database, and file storage

Information you submit to Fox AI may be sent to these providers as needed to deliver the service. We do not sell your personal information.

We use analytics tools to understand acquisition, page views, signups, subscriptions, product usage, and errors. Session replay may record interactions and visible app content so we can diagnose usability problems. Avoid entering information you do not want processed by Fox AI or its service providers.

We may share information only in limited circumstances:

• With service providers that help us operate Fox AI
• When you explicitly enable a public shared conversation link
• To process payments, prevent fraud, enforce terms, or protect the service
• When required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request

Shared conversation links can expose the conversation content to anyone with the link while sharing is enabled.

You can control much of your Fox AI data directly in the product:

• Delete conversations and uploaded files where product controls are available
• Add, edit, or delete biomarker measurements and uploads
• Manage protocol tracker entries and dose logs
• Choose whether biomarker history is included in Fox AI chat context
• Cancel or manage subscriptions through Fox AI billing settings
• Contact us for privacy, account, or deletion requests

We use access controls, authenticated API routes, ownership checks, and provider infrastructure controls to protect Fox AI data. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

We retain Fox AI data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, improve the product, and maintain backups or logs. Deleted records may persist for a limited time in backups or system logs.

Fox AI is not a HIPAA-covered entity and is not intended for use in clinical healthcare settings.

The only data we collect is anonymous crash reports to help us fix bugs and improve the app. These crash reports:

• Are not tied to your identity — PeptideFox has no login or user accounts
• Contain only technical information about the crash (device type, iOS version, crash stack trace)
• Do not include any of your health data or personal information

We do NOT collect:

• Personal information (name, email, phone)
• Usage analytics or behavior tracking
• Your health or protocol data
• Location data

All data you enter into PeptideFox is stored locally on your device only:

• Data is stored in your device's local storage
• Data is never transmitted anywhere
• Data persists until you delete the app or clear app data
• No cloud sync, no backups to our servers
• You have complete control over your data

Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles all payment information according to their privacy policy. We do not receive or store your payment details — only confirmation of your subscription status.

PeptideFox is NOT a HIPAA-covered entity. This application is not intended for use in clinical healthcare settings.

Since all data stays on your device and is never transmitted, there is no Protected Health Information (PHI) processed by us.

You have complete control over your data:

• Delete your data — Uninstall the app or clear app data in iOS Settings
• No account to delete — There are no accounts, no sign-ups, nothing stored on our end
• Export your data — Your data is yours; use iOS backup features if you wish to preserve it

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Given the iOS app's zero-data-collection approach, changes to the iOS app policy are unlikely to affect your privacy.
